AWE Awakening Worship Evenings – is a community aimed at fostering unity between local churches, the main instruments of which are joint prayer and worship.
My purpose for the visual representation was to convey the vision and core values of the movement using the principles of functional design.
The logo uses one of the standard “Helvetica” fonts, which is familiar and recognizable. The goal of the glorifier is not to show his peculiarity or coolness, but with his simplicity to direct the attention of a person to God. The beauty of the worshiper lies not in himself, but in the Creator that works through him.
The symbol of the Holy Spirit, which reveals and interprets the depth of God (John 16:13; 1 Peter 1:11)
Works on unbelievers (John 16:8–11)
Assists the Believer with Spiritual Strength to resist sin (Romans 8:9)
Brings love, joy, comfort, contentment and peace (Acts 13:52)
Empowers Christians to Serve and connects Supernaturally with God (Acts 1:8)
The personification of God’s unconditional love for us. “… for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” (Matthew 5:45)
The circle is also a symbol of the unity and infinity of God. Without Him we are nothing; in Him we gain everything.
The client also wanted custom t-shirts for the team. I came up with simplistic design, that would be easily recognizable.
After a few months I was contacted again about, if it’s reasonable to sell the team shirts? The reason was, people were constantly asking, where could they buy the apparel. I suggested, that It’s better to make a separate, more sophisticated design for the merchandise. The client was happy with the idea and ordered a separate design for the awe merch.
